Leagues
Westside Tennis & Fitness strives to offer competitive yet social tennis play for our tennis members of all levels. Our leagues are designed to encourage member interaction providing a great avenue to meet others players. All club leagues are monitored and organized by our professional tennis staff. Leagues are available throughout the year. All intra-club leagues are for 10 weeks and require a small fee.
Inter city leagues played through the USTA, HTA, HLTA, WHLTA and Memorial Leagues are also available to our members. Our staff will introduce club members to current captains and help to place you on the appropriate league team.
Men's Intraclub Doubles League
This league provides a competitive, social league for our adult males at multiple levels. The league is managed by league captains, comprised of club members. The league is played Saturday mornings at 9am for the 3.0-3.5 level and 11am for the 4.0 and above. The league fee of $20 includes the cost of balls, prizes for the winners and a season ending hamburger and beer luncheon.
Women's Evening Doubles League
Our women's doubles league is played on Monday evenings at 7pm. This league is a social league without score compilation. The league not only offers a competitive tennis match each week but it also provides a fun environment for our ladies to meet others at their level. The league fee of $20 includes the cost of balls, play administration and a season ending dinner.
Ladies Morning League
Play each Tuesday morning on a rotation basis with other members on your court. It's a wonderful way to meet new players at the club or compete with old friends. This intra club league is a great compliment and lead in to inter-city leagues. The league fee of $20 includes the cost of balls, league organization and a season ending lunch. Tuesdays 9am.
Senior Ladies Indoor Doubles League
This league is specifically for our ladies age 55 and above. Matches are indoors and are played in a round robin format. The league fee of $25 includes the cost of balls, indoor court fees, league administration and the season ending luncheon. Tuesdays 2-4pm.
Mixed Doubles League
Play mixed doubles with a set partner or a different partner each week. It's great social tennis for couples or singles. There is a season ending fajita and margarita dinner by the adult pool. The $20 league fee includes the cost of balls, league administration and the season ending party. Sundays 4pm.
Men's 45+ Doubles League
This league is played on clay for injury preventive tennis for our gentlemen 45 years of age and above. The $20 league fee includes the cost of balls, league administration and the season ending dinner.
Singles League - Men and Women
This league is for competitive singles and is played in a flexible format. Each week you have a scheduled opponent and you determine your playing times. The $20 league fee includes the cost of balls, schedule administration and prizes for winners.
